En résumé

Arash FARNOOSH, professeur à IFP School (IFPEN), est ingénieur, économiste et spécialiste de l'énergie. Titulaire de la Chaire "Electricité et Transition Digitale", il est également responsable du programme Executive Master.

En parallèle de ses activités de recherche dans le cadre de sa Chaire "Electricité et Transition Digitale", il coordonne et dispense actuellement des cours sur l'économie de l'énergie, le management du gaz naturel et de l'électricité et la technico-économie des énergies renouvelables à IFP School. Par ailleurs, il supervise le programme Executive Master en Management de l'Energie en partenariat avec BI Norwegian Business School et a dirigé un programme international de Master en Economie et Management du Pétrole, du Gaz et de l'Energie pendant dix ans. Arash est également enseignant à l'Institut d'études politiques de Paris (Sciences Po) et à l'École des Ponts ParisTech. En 2012, 2020 & 2023, il a été élu Meilleur Professeur du programme Executive Master of Management et en 2023, il a été nommé Chevalier dans l'Ordre des Palmes Académiques par la République française.

Avant de rejoindre IFP Energies nouvelles en 2010, Arash a travaillé dans diverses entités telles que TotalEnergies, Airbus France et BNP Paribas Banque d’Investissement en tant qu'ingénieur-économiste. Amateur d'histoire du monde, il parle couramment le français, l'anglais et le persan.

Arash est ingénieur diplômé de l'INSA et de l'ENSPM et également titulaire d'un Master Recherche en Génie Energétique de l'Université de Toulouse. Il est Docteur en Sciences Economiques de l’Université de Montpellier et a obtenu son Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches (HDR) à l’Université Paris-Nanterre.
